Who is Michael?

Michael specialises in lacing good quality bicycle wheels. His work in recreating spoke lacing patterns of the past has lead him to making bicycles wheels for numerous clients and brands, including track, race, cyclo-cross, off road and touring wheel designs. His wheel patterns have also been featured in the national press and for use by museums.

Michael builds his wheels from his Wheel Shed in the Preseli Mountains in Wales.

Michael rides a custom-made Witcomb steel racing frame and a renovated 1970 carlton steel fixed-wheel.
